Rene Lacote - 182_

This guitar was one of the masters top models. Rene Lacote is considered a genious for his time and made several experimental models. This particular model is made of Satinwood back and sides, with a spruce sound board. It is in completely origional condition with a minor repair to the side. Despite the label indicating the guitar was made in the 1820's It is most likely made in the following decade. Lacote used many of these labels in his 1830's and 40's guitars. The guitar has an origional Lacote coffin case and plays beautifully with a rich sweet tone.
