Giovanni Battista Fabricatore - FOR SALE

G.B.Fabricatore continued building his six stringed guitars into the beginnings of the 19th century. This example has been left in its complete origional state without any restoration. Except for the bridge, the entire guitar is in origional condition. It is in need of restoration, but sometimes, important instruments such as this one should be left alone. The date is also important as this guitar is a link between the 18th and 19th centuries. One other model of the same date exists at the Museu di Basilea. Fruitwood back and sides stained black and atwo piece spruce top.
